I am a local doula and massage therapist who applied for and was granted a scholarship to attend this year's SQUATFest in San Francisco, CA August 2nd-4th. However, I still need to raise the funds to pay for my round-trip plane ticket and accommodations.

I am asking for anyone who would like to donate towards the fund to participate in this weekend's yardsale. It is up to you to choose what you want to donate, between 30-50% (or more!) of your sales to the fund. You can drop off your items anytime before Sunday, or stop by early Sunday morning. Anything of yours that doesn't sell you will have to come and pick back up. Surgery is risky as it could cause the CRPS to spread to the other limbs - finding a cure is necessary. *CRPS usually follows an injury as minor as a sprain, a tick or dog bite, immobilization after a surgery, even after a heart attack/stroke, & the pain is not in proportion with the type of injury that has incurred. This disease has been around since the civil war, but we still have no cure. Some veterans describe the pain as intense & hot - long after the wounds have healed.

Raising money for medical expenses for 66 year old Vet that won't take cash donations because he knows a lot of people are having hard times and instead is selling over 35 years of collected items. All purchased new or given as gifts.

Too many things to list but we have everything from Disney to Hallmark items to Glassware to religious items to toys to children clothes mostly for girls including dresses perfect for wedding, church or that special picture! Vintage items including Needlepoints and we even have some USA made items along with other hard to find items.

We also have a kitchen table and 2 chairs on casters for $60 dollars that you would need to ask to see along with a Beautiful Vintage Cannonball high poster bedroom set that we paid around $2400 for and would sell for $1400.

Because we are raising money we can't afford to have a lot of cheap items but we can have a lot of items cheaper than the cost of new :)

I have lots of stuff that I am getting rid of due to a soon occurring move. Clothes still in great condition, an acoustic guitar with stand and learning book (and more!!!), plush animals, board games, books, a few movies and trinkets and older storage containers a little busted up but still good (charging no more then 5$ for these). I am also giving up my gecko for adoption (will include cage, lamps, light bulbs, food etc.). I just got him about a month ago but because I am always at work or running around doing paper work I can not properly take care of it.
