I am a local doula and massage therapist who applied for and was granted a scholarship to attend this year's SQUATFest in San Francisco, CA August 2nd-4th. However, I still need to raise the funds to pay for my round-trip plane ticket and accommodations.

I am asking for anyone who would like to donate towards the fund to participate in this weekend's yardsale. It is up to you to choose what you want to donate, between 30-50% (or more!) of your sales to the fund. You can drop off your items anytime before Sunday, or stop by early Sunday morning. Anything of yours that doesn't sell you will have to come and pick back up. And you can bring anything you think will sell: electronics, baby clothes/toys, outdoor items, etc. Please contact me ASAP if you're interested in participating.

SQUATFest is an innovative, accessible conference for birth workers of all varieties, organized by SQUAT Birth Journal. The event will feature both seasoned elders and emerging voices from within the birthing community and aims to blend the sacred, the shamanic, and evidence based aspects of midwifery as represented by the publication. The conference has a a strong focus on social justice as it relates to the reproductive experiences of pregnancy and birth, and will be an environment where midwives, doulas, and parents of all genders, colors, and walks of life can come together and explore the most pressing issues facing our communities at this time.
