In the past few weeks we have been busy helping clients who cannot have a sale at their location. The contents of their homes are being displayed in our showroom and will be available for you this Saturday, May 26! A few weeks ago we held a sale for another client at another showroom and we were shocked that so few people attended! These showroom/ warehouse sales are the "new" necessity due to homeowners who either live in gated commmunities, highrises or have a quick closing and can't allow the extra timing needed to set up/advertise and conduct a sale onsite. This type of sale are the only way "estate sales" are conducted in many large cities and I am getting calls every week from potential clients who want us to sell their things but don't want or can't have an estate sale in their home -- this type of sale seems to be the wave of the future -- but it won't work unless we can sell the merchandise and make space for more. These clients have quality items and need to liquidate quickly -- so that we have space for "new" merchandise. The benefit to you is that the merchandise is good quality, prices are low, parking is convenient and the shopping is in a confortable location (we even offer restrooms). Most merchandise is offered at 50% off ticket price and reasonable offers are always welcome. We will continue to do estate sales in our client's homes whenever possible but don't miss out on those that are held here! Furnishings this week include a matching pair of ivory and tan brocade sofas with a matching sleeper loveseat and ottoman with storage. Also a formal Hickory parlor sofa, a Victorian parlor grouping, several other sofa choices. Chairs are abundant and come in singles and pairs and dining sets of 6 or 8 in a variety of styles. We offer beds in all sizes and even have clean used mattress sets and electric beds. There is a pair of gorgeous twin headboards, complete with wood rails. A four-poster Kittinger King bed, white iron full bed and mahogany four poster full bed. Modern and period bedroom chests, headboards and dressers, a Bistro set for patio or kitchen, two leather-topped game tables, a set of four Hitchcock chairs, cocktail / coffee tables, side tables plus dining tables, chairs and cabinets, too. Many lamps in singles or pairs can be found as well as lots of glassware, china sets, candlewick, stems. For a relaxing evening after a long day at work, try the chaise lounge that will warm you and vibrate your stress away. We have lots of artwork and light fixtures to satisfy any taste and at the moment we have a washer/dryer set. Be sure to see the stunning Asian screen panels that are gold framed and mounted three-dimensionally. Each one measures 52 inches tall by 34 inches wide. Also a four panel coromandel screen is available. Also a pair of 45 inch tall faux marble plant stands/columns with decorative urns.
