FAFG's mission is to serve individuals and families in the poorest communities in the City of Houston. It's vision is to help these people attain their basic rights to survival, protection and development. We have one major fundraising campaign that we are focusing on with more to come early next year. If interested in the position you will be one of the first to take part in this campaign and one of the first to take part in the bigger indoor/outdoor events currently being planned. Position: Independent Contractor for fundraising events. Wage per Hour: $12.50 (no company medical benefits, insurance, or retirement plans available) Bonuses: Yes Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-2pm Flexibility: Yes Fundraising location: In and around the City of Houston (Location changes weekly) Requirements include: 1. Attending indoor and outdoor fundraising events. (5-6 hours standing/engaging with potential donors) 2. Traveling to fundraising locations within the City of Houston 3. Display good public relation skills 4. Have a basic understanding of FAFG. 5. Work well in a team atmosphere. 6. Must be reliable and punctual. 7. Understand and comply with company policy 8. Understand and comply with federal and state regulations regarding fundraising events 9. Good hygiene and personal appearance. Comply with Uniform Regulations. 10. Accountability of donations, company signs, id cards and uniforms. 11. Social Media Skills 12. Most important is to have fun raising money supporting a great cause! Training and Supervision: 1. An initial probationary period will be required in which initial on the job training will take place. 2. Regular team meetings 3. Direct oversight and accountability of donations.
