Tom & Rebecca Harpool worked hard all their lives, starting and growing a company and a family. They did a fine job with both. They were married for 67 years! During his life he was very much involved in Denton. From bank director to Boy Scout leader, Kiwanis Club to United Way. He was also a Denton ISD board member for 15 years. And really, that is only naming a few out of the many ways he helped his fellow man and the town of Denton that he loved. The Harpools had 7 children but still found time to play bridge, hunt , fish, travel, cook and be active members of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church for over 60 years where Tom served as an elder for 30 years. . .of course he did! No wonder a school in Denton ISD and a water treatment plant are named for him. Tom Harpool. They just don't grow them any better! Theirs is a wonderful home. Constructed well. Lived in well. Much loved by all who enter.
