Description: We are proud to present the continuation of thehistoric, massive studio liquidation of listed American Modernist painter, illustrator, and ceramicist Silvio Carl Fracassini. This unprecedented single-artist estate features original works spanning his highly active career. A prominent student of Colorado pioneer Vance Kirkland and Walt Kuhn, Fracassini later served as a respected professor of fine art at both The University of Denver and The State University of Iowa. His works are held in permanent university museum collections and are highly prized examples of mid-century regional abstraction.
