This unprecedented single-artist estate features roughly 1,500 original works spanning his highly active career. A prominent student of Colorado pioneer Vance Kirkland and Walt Kuhn, Fracassini later served as a respected professor of fine art at both The University of Denver and The State University of Iowa. His works are held in permanent university museum collections and are highly prized examples of mid-century regional abstraction. Inventory Breakdown & Subjects: Mid-Century Abstracts: High-vibrancy oils, geometric gouaches, and multi-layered abstract expressionist watercolors. The Figure & The Nude: An expansive archive of academic, modernist, and expressionist life studies. Features charcoal, crayon, and ink renderings of both men and women.
