San Lazaro Fundraising Garage Sale Event

Dear beloved Boulderites, our friends, neighbors, and community,
San Lazaro is a mobile home community in Boulder, Colorado, where more than 1000 residents have put down roots and built their lives. Now, the ability to remain here is at risk. The land beneath the homes is being sold, and residents are working together to purchase it and create a resident-owned community.
San Lazaro Mobile Home Park is a community of 213 homes and more than 1000 residents, including many working families, seniors, and multigenerational households: meet the San Lazaro residents in this video.
It’s no secret that housing is too expensive in Boulder! We are leaning on the hearts and minds of Boulderites to assist us in solving this problem.
Preserving San Lazaro means protecting affordable housing that already exists. It means helping local workers remain close to their jobs, preserving the diversity that enriches Boulder County, and ensuring that longtime customers can continue supporting the businesses they know and trust. It also means residents will be more in control of solving the issue of having safe, drinkable water.

Attend our fundraising event at San Lazaro on September 19th at 9:00 A.M.! There will be coffee and pastries, bagels and cream cheese, and food trucks on site.
