Gargantuan Garage Sale Rain Or Shine

Update to our gargantuan garage sale this Friday and Saturday: We are still having it, even with the threat of rain. we have prepared so our shoppers will stay dry and can still shop. So put those boots on and come on out to see us!

All of the things in my living room, which was depicted in my original post, are now on a trailer, to make the trek over a half acre to my neigbor Denise Sees (see address in post below) . I have included that photo, as I filled a 16 ft trailer, stacked almost 5 ft. high. I am telling you... there is such a multitude of stuff, and deals, you wont be disappointed.

Mostly, all you ladies, XL, XXL, sizes 16 to 20, and shop for clothes at the thrift stores NEED TO VISIT this sale. I have 440+ pieces of clothing, and my 90 yr old dad, put them all on hangers, 2 clothes baskets of pajamas, a basket of tankini tops, 1 with swimsuit bottoms, a basket of like new and new bras, and a basket of shorts. There are dress pants, jeans and capris, vests, tank tops, blouses, jackets ( like the dress ones, not the winter kind) Everything is clean, maybe wrinkled due to being stacked and squished waiting for the sale, but clean. You wont find a better deal than at this sale:

You can buy a whole new wardrobe for a song. so PLEASE send anyone you know in that size range over or even buy them yourself for someone else. Once we get everything on display, i will post those pictures. This has been a mammoth undertaking that i wasnt expecting to take up so much time. so come see us Feiday or Saturday 830a to 5p. This truly will be the sale of the century. I haven’t seen the floor in my living room for almost 6 weeks. I am posting pictures to show how MUCH stuff is going into this sale, but actual pictures of the stuff that’s in the bags in these pictures, may not occur till late Thursday night or early Friday morning, as we will be hours setting up.

What I can do is a list of some things available. If you are a train buff, I have one 1970 ish Tyco complete train set. If you are a crafter, sewer, cricuter, there are thousands of beads to be sold, among other craft supplies, florist wire, yarn, ribbon, oodles and oodles of cardstock, colored paper, cricut vinyl, brand new long cricut cutting mats, craft sticks, glue sticks and glue guns, a new gallon of Elmers glue, crystal iron ons, office supplies out the ying yang, shipping labels, address labels, sheet protectors, pens, markers, printer paper, a metal printer stand with storage underneath with a door on the front.

Thread, specialty Longaberger baskets, the kind with the cloth inserts, plastic inserts and dividers. AGAIN, priced to sell. I have over 200 pieces of clothing, 3 for a dollar, and its very nice stuff. Coach purses, the thick, supple leather that they used to be…again, priced to sell. Jeans, dress pants, shirts, vests, jackets that are for dress, not weather, shorts, and pajamas. Tank-kini tops, bottoms, like new bras!! Those 3 things are priced at 50 cents each.

If you know any women that wear XL, XXL, 16-20, PLEASE tell them to come visit this sale. You could get a whole new wardrobe for pretty damn cheap. My neighbor has clothes too, hers are priced as marked and are smaller sizes.

I have mens golf shorts (38/40), mens golf shirts, (XL to XXL, Ping, Callaway, Pebble Beach, Ralph Lauren etc.) shoes, shoes and more shoes (9/10) right along with the same on the purses! There are tote bags, stuffed animals, 70 pieces of kitchen utensils, pool floats, a wooden rectangular chest my mom bought in Amish country eons ago, a generic pressed wood bookcase, glassware, home décor, outdoor chair cushions, a floor model tall cylindrical oscillating fan, air purifiers, a 21-inch high electric inflatable/deflatable air bed.

There are beverage coolers, specialty dog collars and leashes, a new electric griddle, 2 tiger (orange and black) striped beach towels shaped like the bear rugs, with a tail! A weaved blanket that has many of the Massillon historical buildings weaved into it, and much, much, more.

The most fun part of this sale, which was an absolute hit last year, is the "fill-a-bag for a buck" bins. It's all the stuff I didn’t have the energy to price: rulers, tape measures, coffee mugs, random pillow cases, ceiling hooks, notepads, placemats, erasers, crochet hooks…I could go on and on. There are large things and small things.
