The annual Grandview Heights and Village of Marble Cliff (located next to Grandview Heights) is having their annual Garage Sale throughout the communities on Saturday, May 2 from 9:00 - 3:00. One can get a list of the homes participating (approx100) on Friday, May 1 on the Grandview Heights website.
I AM HAVING MY SALE TWO DAYS - FRIDAY, MAY 1 AND SATURDAY, MAY 2 FROM 8:00 - 5:00. Some of the items will benefit our fundraising for Alzheimer/dementia and Friedreich ataxia. We will also have annuals, herbs, 8" and 12" decorative containers, and perennials as part of our annual flower fundraiser. The flowers are grown at Straders and Millcreek Nurseries. We will also sell house plants, including jade plants.
The following is a partial listing. I am just getting started and will add additional items and pictures as time permits.
Libbey 12-piece Winterpine dinnerware (no chips or cracks). I don't think it has been used. Vintage Santas, Early Vintage Snowman by Greg Guedal, 3 Royal Norfolk Holly & Berries plates, 3 Better Homes Christmas plates. Vintage Christmas crochet bells wall hanging, Snowman light, 3 Rivers Pottery Pitcher from Cochocton Ohio, 2 porcelain angels, Eve Rockwell's Divine Blessings, 2 glass Easter eggs (medium and large), 2 1922-1972 50th Anniversary of Ohio Stadium glasses, assortment of frames, wheelbarrow to use or plant, DIY wood head board??, Small Scotts Easy Green Lawn spreader - plant or use, 2 identical heavy white wood shelves, 1 frying pan w/lid, 1 small frying pan, table lamp with arm, porcelain pans and lids - very good condition, large trash container with foot pedal, 4-tier free standing wood shelf, 1 wood chair, assorted baskets, unusual 6 candleholder, Savoy cigar humidor, Mid Century condiment caddy, several pieces of milk glass, tree holder, 2 wire baskets for outdoor plants, house plants including 2 Jade plants, miscellaneous jars
The garage is always overflowing. We are hopeful for good weather so we can spread items throughout the driveway.
