Prominently displayed in select galleries and adored for its imaginative functional and naturalbeauty, bidders will be able to explore and choose from a large selection of unique and expertly crafted objects of vertu. Mr. Hunter exposes the spirit inherent in popular regional woods such as Maple, Cedar, Walnut, Oak manifested through his creation of bowls, trinket boxes, vases, compote dishes, furniture and wall art. His talent is also revealed through detaileddesigned stained-glass window panels, sun catchers, and Tiffany style shades. Inspired by the life and culture of the Southwestern Native American, much of his art reflects the rustic and rugged depiction of a desert plain lifestyle and accounts for the large selection of Bev Doolittle, Richard Luce, Marie Buckfink, and Russ Vickers. The estate offers hand thrown pottery by Rodney Leftwich, Seagrove artisans, and Native American cultural preservationists. Kindred craftsman will appreciate the workshop full of power and hand tools while bibliophiles will delight with the selection of antique and items of interestbooks.The quality selection of furniture is impressive and includes Drexel, Henredon, Brasilia Broyhill, and several hand-crafted pieces by Mr. Hunter himself.
