Book & Bake Sale is March 13-15, organized by the United Methodist Women at our church. Come shop at a well-organized sale of a variety of books -- both fiction and non fiction -- as well as vinyl records, CDs, and DVDs. Visit our Puzzle Room to see an impressive collection of fun puzzles. Our kitchen will be open serving delicious soups and the Bake Sale will feature delightful selections. It's a wonderful event for our congregation and the whole community. Tell your friends, neighbors, book clubs.
Sale will be held in the Metropolitan Vestry
Friday March 13, 8 am to 8 pm
Saturday March 14, 8 am to 8 pm
Sunday March 15, 8 am to 12 noon (bag sale)
This year's sale will support four organizations including Project Transformation DC, a summer camp which focuses on improving the reading skills of elementary school children; AsylumWorks, which supports asylum seekers with legal and employment assistance; FAIR Girls, which provides care to female survivors of human trafficking; and Give Ye Them to Eat, a United Methodist Mission in Mexico training people in agriculture, health, and technology.
