SALE DETAILS Most of the art offered at this estate sale features: Art by a painter and mixed media artist with a collector's eye for beauty. She was trained at Brooklyn's prestigious Pratt Institute, and she honed her craft painting the landscapes of New York's Hudson River Valley as part of "The New Hudson River Painting Group." In 1991, she brought her artistic vision west to the Bay Area, where California's dramatic terrain continues to fuel her creative spirit. She spent decades as an award-winning interior designer, painting has always been her deepest passion. Her work captures the essence of place through bold compositions in oil, acrylic, and watercolor. She also creates thematic works in collage and mixed media that explore deeper concepts of family, emotions, and politics. Whether painting plein air or working in her Walnut Creek studio, she's drawn to the intricate beauty of nature. She is a member of the Northern California Women's Caucus for the Arts and has exhibited in galleries in San Francisco and the greater Bay Area. As she prepares to downsize and move, she's thrilled to open her personal collection and give art lovers an intimate chance to experience decades of creative exploration.
