The Purge: A Yard Sale So Epic It Needs A Weather Report

We're doing it. The Great Unburdening. On Saturday, September 27, we are releasing years of accumulated treasures (and a few questionable decisions) back into the wild. Prepare yourselves for the yard sale to end all yard sales—as long as the rain gods cooperate.

This event is 100% weather dependent. If it's raining, we're not doing it. We will be inside, weeping over our boxes of junk while contemplating our life choices. So, please, do a sun dance, a rain-stopping ritual, or just cross your fingers and send good vibes our way.

What are we unloading, you ask? A little bit of everything.

The Clothing Conundrum: A truly staggering amount of women's clothing (sizes S-XL) and shoes (size 7). We're talking everything from "I thought I'd wear this at least once" pants to "this was a great deal at the outlet" shirts. For the guys, there's a respectable selection of men's shirts (sizes M-L) that no longer fit or never did in the first place.

Household Items and Other Oddities: We have lamps that have seen brighter days (literally), organizational bins that never organized a single thing, and home decor items that were "definitely going to tie the room together."

The Creative Corner: For the crafty souls, we have some unused skeins of granny square yarn. Yep, if you're too lazy to change colors on your own, this yarn does it for you. Come help us free our inner crochet demons.

The Big Stuff: We have furniture that we just can't keep moving around anymore, and for the handy person in your life, a mysterious tabletop bandsaw/jigsaw that looks like it could build a small cabin or just collect dust—you decide! Need a cello stand? Doesn't everyone? Look no further!
