This stately 1928 Georgian Revival landmark, was built by renowned Chicago Architect, Edwin H. Clark, best know for Lincoln Park Zoo’s Reptile House, Brookfield Zoo, Latin School of Chicago, and famous Throne Miniature Room on display at the Art Institute of Chicago. The property’s original purpose was as a boarding house for women under the guidance of the Eleanor Club, a nonprofit association for women. The building is being converted from a Hostel to 40 Luxury Apartments.
