🍋 Garage Sale & Lemonade Stand for a Cause!
Join us this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
📍 361 W Cambria Dr, Round Lake (Madrona Village) 10am-4pm
We’re hosting a garage sale and lemonade stand to benefit two incredible organizations:
💙 Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago
🩵Edwards' Syndrome Association
The lemonade stand will be joyfully run by Mia, her little sister Madison, and some wonderful neighborhood kids!

💗 Why This Matters
Our daughter Mia was born with Trisomy 18 (Edwards Syndrome) — a rare and often misunderstood diagnosis. At birth, we were told she was “incompatible with life” and unlikely to live even a few weeks. We were encouraged to simply take her home to say goodbye.
But Mia had other plans.
Through unwavering advocacy and the support of an incredible medical team, Mia will turn 6 on July 31st. Her journey has helped challenge the outdated narrative around Trisomy 18 and inspire real change.
We are proud to be part of a group that founded The Edwards' Syndrome Association, working to give other families hope, support research, and partner with medical professionals committed to rethinking what’s possible.

🏥 Why Lurie Children’s?
Lurie Children’s has been a lifeline for Mia.
• They diagnosed her with hydrocephalus and placed a life-saving shunt.
• Thanks to their guidance, she is now nearly 7 months seizure-free.
• They recently launched a Trisomy Collaboration Team, a dedicated group of specialists working together to provide individualized care for rare trisomy kids.
Funds raised will go directly to this new team — created because of children like Mia — with the goal of helping each child reach their full potential.
