This estate has seventy years plus accumulation that includes antiques, rare books, collectibles and much more. The Greenwoods were avid antique collectors and sellers. Fine furnishings include a solid cherry Civil War 2 part lawyer's bookcase, a pair of Federal style corner cabinets and many primitive style desks, benches and cabinets. There is a spinning wheel and chests as well. A large collection of various dinnerware includes English Blue Willow, American Blue Willow, Liberty Blue, Harker Gadroon, several different rare patterns by Blue Ridge, 1950s-70s fired on Fire King/Anchor Hocking pieces, Stetson Swirl, 1930s Taylor, Smith and Taylor Spearmint Leaf and 1980s Blue Nordic pattern by J&G Meakin. Smalls from primitive to modern from around the world can be found. There is a large collection of books with some first editions for the book lovers out there. Richard, a professional writer, was employed as Press Secretary to US Senator of Arizona Carl Hayden (1877-1972). Upon Hayden's retirement in 1969, he gifted Richard his large and rare collection of Foreign Relations of the United States from the early 1900s on. This is a sale you won't want to miss.
