The Homeless Animal Rescue Team (HART) of Maine, an adoption center & shelter for cats in Cumberland, is pleased to announce their massive annual Yard Sale fundraiser is back at the Cumberland Fairgrounds, Thursday, August 7 through Sunday, August 10, 2025. Admission is free.

Items available for sale will include vintage items, antiques, furniture, sporting goods, home décor, small appliances, clothing, toys, books, tools, garden gear, and more!

All proceeds from items sold at HART's flagship fundraising event will go directly to providing essential care for the hundreds of cats they take in every year.

The event runs Thursday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. – noon. The Yard Sale takes place in the Exhibition Hall at the Cumberland Fairgrounds, 197 Blanchard Road, Cumberland, Maine 04021.

HART's mission is to provide refuge, comfort, and comprehensive medical attention for all of the cats that have been surrendered, abandoned, injured, or abused—and to find appropriate community placements for them.
