Ms. Magazine Recognized Sandra Gilbert’S Berkeley Estate Sale

Sandra Gilbert was recognized in 1986 by Ms. magazine as one of 12 Women of the year for her outstanding work in feminist publications. She was the first person in the US to have a woman’s Studies college course. She wrote several books about literature, feminist issues, food, and was a prolific poet as well. Poetry abounds. Sadly, she has passed and her estate sale is in order. We will pay tribute to her life and have literally set up a bookstore with numerous of her publications set up for your perusal and purchase, amongst 11 more walls of books.
