We hope you enjoy browsing these curated collections! The art in this home is part of the Ladanyi Collection, owned by the family of renowned artist Emory Ladanyi. Born in 1902 in Hungary, Emory was a painter and a physician. In Berlin, he was impressed by the works of Edward Munch, forerunner of German Expressionism who exerted lasting influence on his work. In 1929, at the age of 27, he arrived in NY and passed his medical boards to practice medicine in NY. After Pearl Harbor, Ladanyi volunteered for the US Army Corps. After the war, he continued his profession and his work as an artist. His art has been exhibited in over 20 collections and museums here and abroad. Pre-sale of large furniture is allowed. Including couches, dressers, grandfather clock, dining room table and hutch, dining buffet, desks, and beds.
