You're invited to come buy and sell at The Morris Farm's Barn Sale Extravaganza, Saturday, September 20th! The 8 am -- 1 pm event takes place rain or shine and is free for yard sale shoppers, who will find loads of bargains from antiques to household décor, clothing, collectibles, books, jewelry, toys, tools, furniture, farm equipment, the kitchen sink... you name it! In addition to digging for treasures at the sale, you're also be invited to tour the farm and shop for fresh, organic produce and products from local farms in the newly-opened Morris Farm Store. Vendor tables are available for rent for $12 with set-up beginning at 7:00 am Saturday (or after 5:30 pm Friday); the majority of tables will be set-up in the barn with a few being outside. Note: early birds will be plucked, roasted over a spit and served to the public. The Morris Farm Trust is a member-supported nonprofit educational farm located at 156 Gardiner Road (Route 27 North) in Wiscasset and home to the Margaret Ellis Community Gardens, the Wiscasset Primary School Garden, a University of Maine Master Gardener Demonstration Garden and The Morris Farm Store. The Farm hosts a variety of educational programs and community events plus a summer day camp for children ages 4-11. It is open to the public seven days a week from sunrise to sunset.
