We are planning to have an open house at the Pine Meadow Farm Center, an non-profit teaching farm in Cheney, WA on Saturday, June 22. Details are still being worked out, but right now we are looking forward to having some live music, guided tours of the farm, children's activities, food vendors and a big multi-vendor yard sale.

We have booked the well-known Spokane band the Working Spliffs as headliners and we expect a good crowd.

We are seeking vendors who would like to join the yard sale. Vendors will need to pay a $10 entrance fee.

Let's try this again - last month we got rained out! We are Sammy's Clubhouse Spokane Ferret Rescue and Education. Not only do we help ferrets but we have been helping with bottle fed kittens and puppies so our food and veterinary bills have gotten HUGE. All the items donated are being sold to benefit the shelter - most are 100% of the proceeds. Cars are 10% of the proceeds. Some items will be: Cages - - Bird, ferret, rabbit, large and small - from $10 to $150 for new or used Books - tons of them - all different types and some very collectible ones - all priced half of what they would be on Amazon Porcelan dolls - collectibles priced half of what you can find them online. Ashton Drake collection. Carousel horses - San Francisco Music Box Company Tools - from electric to hand tools all need to GO! Housewares - glassware - small appliances Toys - cheap and some collectibles And even more knicknacks for CHEAP CHEAP prices! Western saddle - appears to be 16" seat a light brown with no cinch but good overall condition $100 Cars: 2001 GMC Sonoma truck 4WD 4spd 1996 Chevy Camaro Convertible And much more donated items from generous people. I will post photos as we get closer. Hoping no rain for the weekend but we will be here. There will be ferrets to see and kittens/young cats for adoption. Deposits will be able to be taken for puppies or kittens not yet available and adoption processes can start for ferrets. Please help us out. Remember 100% of the items (not vehicles) for sale go to them so no cutthroat deals the first couple days. It is not like we are trying to clean out a garage, we are trying to raise veterinary and food funds for them. We have 50 ferrets in our care within the 2 main locations and one foster. We hope to have less kittens/cats but currently we have 12 kittens and 4 (possibly more) young cats. Several young dogs and puppies are also in our care. Donations of ferret/kitten or puppy food will be gladly accepted.
