Originally purchased in the 90's from Good's Furniture in New Holland. The hutch measures: 74 1/2"h x 38 1/2" w. The brand is Virginia House Furniture Corp., Atkins, Virginia. Virginia House used the finest solid woods, veneers and selected products. The table top is treated with 3m's Scotchguard Brand Wood Protector from the factory. So there are no corrosive marks, abrasions or ring marks. The hutch does have a water stain on the flat surface where some water was spilled, I just always placed a decorative ceramic dish over the spot. So with all that said, to those of you have asked so far, it is not solid oak, but a combination of the finest solid woods. You're welcome to come and see it. We have raised two children, and since had their spouses and now two grandson's who have all had many meals around this table, so it shows some wear here and there on the chairs, but otherwise is in good condition.
