Sales location will be in the Sumtur Amphitheater paved parking lot. Each vendor space will be approximately 16' W x 18' D. Sales items must be clean and serviceable. Acceptable items: appliances, electronics, furniture, clothing, bicycles, children's items, home furnishings, housewares, artwork, jewelry, musical instruments, books & media, exercise equipment, sports equipment. Unacceptable items: used mattresses, food, beverages, animals, firearms, weapons, chemicals, items that contain offensive or profane material. Note: Every seller at a the Sumtur Garage Sale is responsible for the collection of state, and any applicable local, sales tax on all sales items, unless the seller receives a properly completed Nebraska Resale or Exempt Sale Certificate, Form 13, from the purchaser. Sellers must remit the tax collected on a Nebraska and Local Sales and Use Tax Return, Form 10. The Department encourages sellers to e-file and e-pay sales tax using the Department's NebFile system.
