Multi-family garage sale to raise money for our work with orphans in Zambia, Africa. May 23-25, 6191 Standing Stone Drive, Holland, Mi, 49423,across from the Laketown Township Hall, 9-5. Office furniture, furniture, tools, clothes, toys, books, more. Zambia Africa Ministry - Vocational School -- MASTERS (Ministry and Skills Training for Emerging ReformerS): The country of Zambia has 11 million people. Close to 1 million are orphans. Most of these are now reaching the age of 16 or older. MASTERS is a six month ministry/vocational school, with an additional six month follow-up and discipleship, for a combined one year commitment, will spiritually disciple, mature and train vocationally, orphan children reaching their teen years. The school will involve daily discipleship and spiritual formation combined with weekend outreaches into impoverished areas for the purpose of evangelism and ministry. Afternoons in the school will be devoted to providing individually tailored vocational skills to the students. Students will participate in a cottage industry associated with the school to learn practical on the job character/work skills. As the students graduate, they will be released into their life settings with the spiritual maturity and marketplace development to bring a "Kingdom" difference where they live.
