We also have a beautiful Capehart console radio/phonograph, 1947, Model 406. This radio is special because of the mechanism. It turns the records over automatically like jukeboxes do. The pictures show how it works. We have not plugged it in because that would be dangerous without special equipment. This particular model could be quite valuable dependent on what speakers happen to be in the cabinet. You will find several of these models online for a lot of money. It has been in the lower level of this home for 50 years and has a lot of dust on it, other than that it's in pretty good shape. We believe that the speaker is Western Electric Model 728B 12" full range. This is a $2400 speaker.
