Vintage clothes, buttons from the turn of the last century, Shabby, Chippy items for your home and garden too. Come and check out this Free show, Saturday from 9am til 4pm Wonderful coffee and sweets for breakfast, Soup and sandwiches for lunch. Murchies Tea for sale, by the cup or by the pot. Relax and have a bite to eat right there at the show. We have over 40 great vendors, several are local artists, with handcrafted jewelry, knits, and windchimes. Other vendors create one of a kind decor items for your home and gifts for your family.

1. Ravenna/Bryant small estate sale. One Day Only. Saturday, May 11th 10 AMN to 3 PM 5538 39th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98115 Prefer Cash no debit or credit cards here. Sign up sheet arrives at 9 AM Not all items will be priced, most will be make an offer This area is a semi-digger. The basement area that will be open for the 2nd sale will be more of a digger! COME TO SEE THE HOUSE WITH THE LIVING ROOM THAT IS THE FIRST CABIN BUILT NORTH OF THE CANAL before the cut was created. The approximately 12 ft. by 30 ft. living room is the original cabin. The exposed 12 x 12 hand sawn beams are still visible. The cabin was built in the 1860's and was the first cabin North of the Montlake cut which of course was not built until the early 1900's.the original owner grew thistle berries and made thistle berry wine which he sold to the Fiddler Inn which was originally a Royal Canadian Mounty outpost? In the 1940's the house was built , expanding the one room cabin to the current home. This home was purchased from Ed Hume (who had purchased it from the then owner) by the current family that has owned the home since the 1950's SAME FAMILY HAS OWNED THIS PROPERTY FOR OVER 60 YEARS. The house and property are for sale. The boulder in the basement is thought to be from the last Mt. Rainier eruption. It is about 20 ft. tall (but imbedded into the ground with about 4 feet showing. They were unable to blast it away! For those of you who live in the Ravenna/Wedgwood neighborhood it is akin to the "Wedgwood rock" large and immovable!
